Switzerland — Refdata Services Sàrl

Data provided: Swiss medicine catalog from the Article-Refdatabase (Refdatabase GTIN), including human medicines, veterinary medicines, and non-pharmaceutical products registered under Swissmedic. Data fields include product identifiers (GTIN), product names in German, French, Italian, and English, marketing authorization holder information, ATC classification codes, and authorization status.

How we use it: Home Med Cabinet uses Refdata's Article data to populate the Swiss medicine catalog within the app, allowing users in Switzerland to look up and add medicines by scanning barcodes or searching by name.

Update frequency: The data is refreshed regularly from Refdata's public Article XML interface to ensure users have access to current product information.

Data provided: French medicine catalog from the BDPM (Base de données publique des médicaments), including medicines currently marketed or marketed within the last two years in France. Data fields include CIS identification codes, medicine names, pharmaceutical forms, dosages, routes of administration, marketing authorization holder information, and marketing status.

How we use it: Home Med Cabinet uses BDPM data to populate the French medicine catalog within the app, allowing users in France to look up and add medicines by name or product code.

Update frequency: The data is refreshed regularly from BDPM's publicly available data files to ensure users have access to current product information.
