End User License Agreement

Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Vibe Solutions AI ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent studio based in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, for the use of Home Med Cabinet ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on compatible devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms of this EULA.

On iOS and iPadOS: This license covers use on Apple-branded devices in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

On Android: This license covers use on Android devices through the Google Play Store, in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the App or any rights therein to any third party
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose, or in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the App to create a competing product or service
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful data to the shared medicine community catalog

Ownership and Intellectual Property

The App, including all intellectual property rights therein (such as copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents), is and remains the exclusive property of Vibe Solutions AI. This EULA does not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved by Vibe Solutions AI.

Shared Medicine Catalog

The App allows you to contribute medicine information (name, barcode, and manufacturer data) to a shared community catalog that benefits all users. By submitting such contributions, you grant Vibe Solutions AI a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute the contributed information as part of the shared catalog. Contributions must relate to real medicine products and may not contain personal health information. Once merged into the shared catalog, contributions cannot be deleted as they form part of an anonymized community database.

App Store Terms

Apple App Store

You acknowledge that this EULA is between you and Vibe Solutions AI only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App on iOS must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

The following applies to your use of the App on iOS:

  • Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App
  • In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of the App
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Vibe Solutions AI, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary

Google Play Store

You acknowledge that this EULA is between you and Vibe Solutions AI only, and not with Google LLC ("Google"). Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App on Android must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.

The following applies to your use of the App on Android:

  • Google has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App
  • Google is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Vibe Solutions AI, not Google, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim

Subscriptions

iOS (Apple In-App Purchases)

Premium subscriptions purchased on iOS are processed through Apple In-App Purchases and governed by Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple ID account settings.

Android (Google Play Billing)

Premium subscriptions purchased on Android are processed through Google Play Billing and governed by Google's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period through the Google Play app or your Google account settings.

Cross-Platform Terms

A Premium subscription purchased on one platform (iOS or Android) does not automatically transfer to the other platform. Subscription status is independently managed by Apple or Google for each respective platform and verified through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment details from either platform.

Health and Medical Disclaimer

The App is a personal information management tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

The App is designed to help you organize and track medication and prescription information. Any AI-powered features and text recognition (OCR) features provide general assistance only and should not be relied upon for medical decisions.

Prescription records stored in the App are for your personal reference only and do not replace original prescriptions issued by your healthcare provider. Always retain your original prescriptions.

Text recognition (OCR) results are not guaranteed to be accurate. You are responsible for verifying all extracted information before relying on it. Errors in medication names, dosages, or instructions could have serious health consequences.

AI-generated content (such as Medicine Wiki articles) is provided for general informational purposes only. It may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information and is not a substitute for advice from your pharmacist or healthcare provider.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your medications and health. In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Data Processing

The App processes data in the following ways:

On-Device Processing

All medication and prescription data you enter is stored locally on your device. On-device text recognition (OCR) is performed using Google ML Kit, which processes camera frames entirely on your device — no data is transmitted for this feature.

iCloud Sync (iOS Only)

If you have iCloud enabled on your iOS device, your medication inventory data may be synced to your personal iCloud account by Apple. This sync is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Backup and Restore (Android Only)

The Android version allows you to create local backup files (.hmcbackup). You are solely responsible for the security and storage of these files. Backup files are stored on your device in an unencrypted local format.

Cloud-Based Processing (Premium)

Premium subscribers may use:

  • Enhanced cloud OCR: Photos of medicine packages or prescriptions are transmitted to our secure server and processed via the Google Cloud Vision API. Photos are not stored on our server or by Google after processing. By using this feature, you consent to this transmission.
  • Medicine Wiki: Generic medicine names (INN) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate educational content. Only the medicine name is transmitted — no personal data.
  • Text-to-Speech: Medicine INN names are sent to OpenAI's API to generate audio pronunciations. Generated audio is cached for up to 30 days.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, be error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee that OCR or AI-generated content will be accurate. You use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vibe Solutions AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, personal injury, or property damage — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability under this EULA shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Vibe Solutions AI for the App or its subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

We may also terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. Provisions of this EULA that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Legal Compliance and Export Control

You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

The App may not be exported or re-exported to countries or persons prohibited under applicable export control laws. By downloading the App, you represent that you are not located in any such country or on any such list.

Open Source Components

The App incorporates third-party open source software components. The applicable open source licenses are available within the App under Settings → About → Open Source Licenses. Where required, attribution notices are included therein.

Third-Party Terms

When using the App, you agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement, including but not limited to your mobile carrier's terms of service, your wireless data service agreement, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (iOS), and the Google Play Terms of Service (Android).

Governing Law

This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, Jalisco, Mexico, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and version number at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised EULA.
