v2.0.1— March 23, 2026
v2.0 is the biggest Home Med Cabinet update since launch. Two of the most-requested features finally shipped: a faster way to add a medication, and a way to keep things organized when more than one person shares a cabinet.
What's new
- AddedBarcode scanning. Point the camera at a package and it's added for you.
- AddedPhoto recognition. Photograph a prescription label or pill bottle, and the app fills in the details.
- ImprovedMedication locations. Group meds by where they live (bathroom, kitchen, bedside) or by who they belong to.
- ImprovedReminder reliability. Reminders fire correctly again after device restarts and after iOS resets notification permissions.
- ImprovedLarge text support. Every screen now respects iOS Dynamic Type, including the biggest accessibility sizes.
- ImprovedMedication detail view. Redesigned layout with a clearer dosage display and quicker access to edit controls.
- ImprovedApp launch. Cold start is roughly 40% faster on older iPhones.
- FixedThe notes field no longer clears on save.
- FixedThe reminder badge count now resets after you acknowledge a dose.
What's coming next
Portuguese (Brazil), German, and Italian are in progress for later this year. (English, Spanish, French, and Russian are already there.) Android is still the most-requested thing we hear, and it's the priority for this year. We're also working on opt-in cloud sync with end-to-end encryption; local-only stays the default. And a medication history log — useful for doctor visits and caregivers — is on the list.
We keep the changelog current with every release. Bugs and feedback go to support@vibe-solutions.ai or the support link inside the app.
